PEPtalk - Helping Parents and Those Who Care for Children Become More Informed: One PEPtalk at a Time

As parents, we all want to keep our children safe and healthy, but the reality is that accidents and illnesses can happen, often when we least expect them. Bringing our children to the Emergency Department can be a frightening and confusing experience. That is why we created a podcast dedicated to helping parents navigate pediatric emergencies and understand the conditions that may bring their children to the emergency room.

In each episode of PEPtalk, we’ll explore a different pediatric emergency or condition, shedding light on what happens before, during and after coming to the ED. From fevers and broken bones to allergic reactions and respiratory distress, we’ll cover it all.  In addition, we’ll discuss the inner workings of the hospital and answer questions like: “Why does it take so long to be seen?” “How does the Triage system work?” and “What does it mean to be seen by a resident doctor?” and so much more!
